On the occasion of 75thAnniversary (Amrit Mahotsav) of India’s Independence, flag-hoisting programs were held in 10 of our work areas in collaboration with Ahmedabad Kamdar Suraksha Abhiyan–A Lok Sanghatan -People’s Organization. Around 1270 people from the work area were present during this celebration. During this celebration, Municipal Councilors of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation and local police officers were invited by the organization to grace the occasion.

The Chief Guests during their speeches highlighted a) the great contributions made by the freedom fighters, b) the progress made over last 7 decades by our great nation under the leadership of different Prime Ministers c) urged the local people and students to pursue higher education d) appealed the local community to live in peaceful co-existence and respect each other's community, faith and strengthen the atmosphere of unity and peace and finally wished all the community members present on the occasion of the Independence Day.

During this celebration, Lok Sangthans through the Chief Guests honored the bright students of the area by giving them gifts. The cultural programs (group dance, songs etc) were presented by the children as a mark of celebration of 75thAmrit Mohotsav of Azadi. The cultural program filled the air with joy and happiness.
